The possibility of a return to total war
between North and South Sudan
Tensions are rising between North and South Sudan. In 2011, Southern Sudan will vote on whether it wishes to become a separate country. Most experts are confident that the South will vote for separation. There is a grave danger of a return to total war between North and South Sudan.
Peace in Darfur cannot be treated separately from peace between North and South Sudan. The next two years will be extremely important for all regions. We hope you will stay informed and find out what you can do to support peace in Sudan.
